Air Technical Services has been in the HVAC controls business since its beginnings in 1984 when it was started by a former Johnson Controls technicians. Since that time, our company has been dedicated to providing the highest quality service and solutions to our customers, which is why in 2008, we became a certified distribution partner of Computrols, Inc.
Since that time we have installed, serviced, and integrated Computrols systems in a wide range of facilities. Even those facilities with existing controls systems which are no longer being supported by the manufacture. In many cases we integrate a Computrols front end at first and replace the main controllers over time.
This translates into the cost being spread out over time rather than a large initial expense. Computrols specializes and excels in applications such as these
Quality
Computrols is best known for its lifetime-warranty DDC controls. That’s right…if a Computrols’ controller fails under normal working conditions, they will repair or replace it and no additional cost. We are also proud to say that Computrols designs and manufactures all of its products in the USA, ensuring the highest quality.
Integration
Surely one of the most unique features of Computrols’ offering is its ability to integrate into both legacy, proprietary systems, and newer, open systems. Computrols controllers enable customers to leverage the vast majority of their controllers by natively communicating the protocols of the existing system. Over time, as the necessary budget becomes available or controllers begin to fail, they can be replaced with Computrols’ controllers on the same communication trunk. This allows our customers to get the most out of their previous investment as they transition to their new system. Computrols and Air Technical Services have successfully integrated with controllers manufactured by Trane, CSI, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Diakin, Honeywell, Barber Coleman, Schneider Electric, Andover, Alerton, Automated Logic, KMC, and more.

Simplicity
Computrols Building Automation Software (CBAS) is meant to be operated by in-house facility management teams. CBAS is a single software package from which users can program graphics, write logic sequences, adjust PID loops, change schedules, and more. There are no limitations, specials passwords, or modules that prevent users from utilizing any part of the interface. The simplicity of CBAS is perhaps best exemplified by its English language logic programming as seen below. If you can say your logic statement, you can program it in CBAS.
